The circuit of the sacred
Historical, artistic, and religious beauties from the Norman Middle Ages
The circuit moves across the centuries that have shaped the historical, artistic, and religious treasures of Palermo, from the Norman Middle Ages of the Cathedral and San Cataldo, to the magnificent stuccos by Giacomo Serpotta in the oratories of the Rosario and San Lorenzo, and through our Gothic-Catalan Renaissance of the church of the Catena. All of this is summarized and displayed in the local diocesan museum, with an abundance of paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts.
